Our Mission
  We believe that First Union Presbyterian Church is called to glorify God by inspiring Christian beliefs within ourselves, our church and our community through:
 Deepening our relationship with God and each other through spiritual development;
Growing in love of each other an our neighbors through community service;
Sharing our faith both with and outside our congregation; and
By being an example of Christ in our everyday world.
Our Common Life is Built Around
The Greate Commission: I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth! Go to the people o f all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world. | The Great Commandment: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. This is the first and most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, “Love others as much as you love yourselves.” |
So Together We Worship: Jesus says “Love God with all your heart.” We were planned for God’s pleasure, so our purpose is to love and glorify God through our praise and thanksgiving. | Serve: Jesus says “Love your neighbor as yourself.” We were shaped for serving, so our purpose is to show our love for God’s message through sharing the faith in word and deed. | Sharing Our Faith: Jesus says “Go and make disciples.” We were made for mission, so our purpose is to share God’s message through sharing the faith in word and deed. | Fellowship: Jesus says “baptize them into…” We were created for membership in God’s family, so our purpose is to identify with His church through active membership. | | Growing In Discipleship: Jesus says “Teach them to do all things that…” We were created to become like Christ, so our purpose is to grow to maturity through growing in the faith. | |

JOIN US SUNDAYS
9:00 AM - CHURCH SCHOOL
We offer classes for all ages in order to study and discuss God's Word so we can learn how to be better disciples in and to the world (Childcare provided).
10:30 AM - WORSHIP
We gather in community to praise and give thanks to God for the grace made known in and through Jesus Christ. Childcare is provided during the Worship Service. JOIN US after Worship for FELLOWSHIP and refreshments. |
