- Psalm 27:6 Music Program  Music has a powerful effect on human experience. It has long been recognized that music transcends our understanding and appeals to our intuitive nature. It is not surprising, then, that music plays an important role in worship, as a way of approaching the mystery of God and of expressing the joy of his presence.
First Union Presbyterian Church is blessed with a rich music program. Several opportunities exist for those with gifts and talents in the areas of music. Our music ministries provide choral opportunities for Worship and special events.
The Chancel Choir sings at the Sunday morning 10:30 am worship service with practices on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 8:00pm in the Sanctuary.
 The Angelus Bell Choir performs for various worship services and special events. Practice is on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the Choir Room.
The Praise Band provides music for various worship services and special events. The Praise Band practices on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm in the Sanctuary. If you would like more information on any of these music ministries, please contact the church office: 985-785-8486. |
