MEMBERSHIP
Individuals may become a member of First Union Presbyterian Church by one of the following methods:
Profession of Faith A person who has never been a member of any Christian church, or who has been baptized but never officially "joined" a church, makes a profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
Certificate of Transfer A person who is a member of some other Christian Church and wishes to unite with First Union Presbyterian Church may request the Clerk of Session to write one's previous church for her or his letter.
Reaffirmation of Faith Some churches do not transfer members, including but not limited to the Church of Christ, the Baptist Church, and the Roman Catholic Church. A person who is a member of one of these churches and wishes to join First Union will be asked to reaffirm his or her faith in Jesus Christ. No "rebaptism" is required.
Affiliate Membership A person who is a member of another Presbyterian church but who will only temporarily be in the area may use this category. An affiliate member is officially connected to First Union for a period of one year while maintaining membership in her or his present church. The affiliate relationship may be renewed.

9:00 AM - CHURCH SCHOOL
We offer classes for all ages in order to study and discuss God's Word so we can learn how to be better disciples in and to the world (Childcare provided).
10:30 AM - WORSHIP
We gather in community to praise and give thanks to God for the grace made known in and through Jesus Christ. Childcare is provided during the Worship Service. JOIN US after Worship for FELLOWSHIP and refreshments. |
